Q1.  What is JEE-Mains and Advanced Level Exam ?
Ans. 

Now, IIT’s have changed its entrance exam pattern so that all the students of non-medical stream have to fill only one application form for all engineering entrance examination. Above 150000 students will be selected for all engineering colleges after clearing JEE-Mains Exam & these students are also eligible for JEE-Advanced Level Exam. After clearing JEE-Advanced Level Exam they are eligible for IIT’s.

Q2. What will happen to AIEEE?
Ans.

After clearing JEE-Mains Exam students have given admission in regional engineering colleges.

Q3. How are students get selected in NIT’s ?
Ans.

Students get selected JEE-Mains have given admission in NIT’s.

Q4. What is the difference between previous IIT-JEE Pattern and forthcoming IIT-JEE Mains & Advanced Level Entrance Exam?
Ans.

Presently IIT-JEE has entrance exam for only in IIT’s and students have to fill many application forms for all other engineering entrance exams separately but now CBSE/IIT committee has decided to change their pattern so that students have to fill only one application form for all engineering entrance exams as well as IIT’s.

Q5. How much time is sufficient for preparation for JEE-Mains & Advanced Level Exam?
Ans.

About 18 months but for bright and sharp students it doesn’t matter.

Q6. Is their any weightage of marks obtained in board exam?
Ans.

In IIT-Mains 40% weightage is given to board exam and for IIT-Advanced 20 percentile in board exam is preferred.

Q7.  How many students will be selected in JEE-Mains Exam?
Ans.

About 150000 students will be selected in JEE-Mains Exam

Q8. How many students will eligible JEE-Advanced Level Exam?
Ans.

All the students selected JEE-Mains exam are eligible to give JEE-Advanced Exam.

Q9. How many seats are available in regional engineering government colleges ?
Ans.

About 20000.are available in regional engineering government colleges.

Q10.  How many seats are available in IIT’s ?
Ans.

About 10000 seats are available in IIT’s .
